‘Clerks III’ Now Hiring Crew in Philadelphia

‘Clerks III’ now hiring crew in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We recently reported that ‘Clerks III’ was going to film in Philadelphia earlier this week and now producers are hiring crew members to work on the upcoming feature film.

Clerks came out in 1994 and is a black-and-white comedy film written and directed by Kevin Smith, who also appears in the film as Silent Bob. Starring Brian O’Halloran as Dante Hicks and Jeff Anderson as Randal Graves, it presents a day in the lives of two store clerks and their acquaintances. Clerks was shot for $27,575 in the convenience and video stores where director Kevin Smith worked in real life. Upon its theatrical release, the film grossed over $3 million in theaters, launching Smith’s career.

According to the Philadelphia Film Comission, crew members are hiring a wide range of prositions on the upcoming feature film. Filming for ‘Clerks III’ will start shooting in mid-April and will shoot for 5 weeks ending in early June in Philadelphia.
