Shawn and Corey reunited on ‘Girl Meets World’ and it’s like the the ’90s all over again.
Corey and Shawn, together again. The old gang reunited on last week’s episode of Girl Meets World and it was amazing. The Girl Meets World episode was TGIF all over again. Corey’s parents even made an appearance. It was basically a Boy Meets World reunion minus Mr. Feeny, Eric and Morgan.
Boy Meets World ran from 1993 to 2000 and was one of ABC’s biggest TV series during the TGIF era. A second generation or spin-off of the show aired earlier this year on the Disney Channel called Girl Meets World and featured Rowan Blanchard (Riley Matthews) as Corey and Topanga’s eldest daughter. The show has been a hit in the ratings, premiering with 5.2 million viewers earlier this year. As a result, Girl Meets World was picked up for a second season. Does that mean we will see more of Shawn and Corey? I guess we will have to wait and see.
