Sony Moves Forward on ‘Bad Boys III’
It was long believed that if a third Bad Boys movie was going to occur, it would be due to Martin Lawrence bothering Will Smith and convincing him to take one last large payday.
Still, the idea of Bad Boys III was nothing more than a dream in an industry filled with trilogies and action films. Until, yesterday, because Sony Pictures is currently in pre-production for Bad Boys III.
Deadline reports that Sony has signed action screenwriter David Guggenheim from Safe House, to write Bad Boys III, with Jerry Bruckheimer to produce a new project. However, Bad Boys I and II director Michael Bay said he will not be returning to the project, but Sony still would like for Will Smith and Martin Lawerence to return.
