Georgia-Filmed ‘Bad Boys For Life’ To Get Early Digital Release

Bad Boys for Life’ to release early on digital streaming platforms due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

According to Variety, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Sony Pictures has released the Georgia-filmed action-comedy “Bad Boys for Life” early on video on demand release starting March 31st.

The movie, which features Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, will debut on April 21 on 4k Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.

Before the crisis, most movie releases were not available at home until approximately 3 months after they premiered in cinemas. Now, due to the coronavirus outbreak, Disney, Lionsgate, Sony, Universal, STX Films, and Warner Bros. have reportedly all announced plans to release movies early.

‘Bad Boys For Life’ is the highest-grossing movie of 2020 earning $204 million in North America. The movie reunites Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as old-school cops taking getting rid of a Miami drug cartel.
