‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Reportedly in Trouble After Tweeting Racist Stuff Online

0

ABC made history by casting a woman of color to be the next Bachelorette. Now, one of the male contestants is in hot water after posting racist tweets on Twitter.

Lee Garrett, a Nashville singer-songwriter who has spent most of his time on the show talking about his hair height is now in the middle of a controversy after Bachelorette fans discover the reality show contestant posted some hateful stuff on his Twitter feed.

The tweets include a link to articles titled “Thousands sign petition to recognize #blacklivesmatter as terrorist group after Dallas,” “Newly released video DESTROYS liberal narrative on Alton Sterling shooting” and this opinion: “Hillary is the millenial’s version of O.J.”

This, of course, is exactly the type of things many people expected to happen with the show’s first black lead.. Ultimately it comes down to being careful about what you post online, because you never know when it will bite you in the butt.
