‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ has now solidified its place in cinematic history, becoming the third-highest-grossing film ever—surpassing even Titanic’s monumental success!

James Cameron has shattered his record as Avatar: The Way of Water surpasses Titanic and ascends to the third-highest-grossing film in cinematic history.

Reports indicate that The Way of Water has grossed an impressive USD 2.2433 billion in the international box office, surpassing Titanic’s previously held record of USD 2.2428 billion and claiming the No. 3 spot! The new installment is now primed to overtake Avengers: Endgame’s record-breaking USD 2.7 billion and Avatar’s contribution of a whopping USD 2.92 billion! Cameron is the only filmmaker with three movies grossing over USD 2 billion, making him the director of the top four highest-grossing films in history. This extraordinary accomplishment solidifies Cameron’s place as one of Hollywood’s most successful directors.

The Way of Water has been exceptionally successful, becoming the top-grossing movie in several nations, including France, Germany, Austria, and multiple other countries. Meanwhile, in Hollywood, Zach Galifianakis will join Disney’s live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch – another surefire success!
