The Marc Cherry series increased 15 percent in the key demographics over the show’s premiere.

The Lifetime series from the creator of “Desperate Housewives” saw a decent ratings bump in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The total viewers for the first episode of the second season was 2 million viewers. According to theWrap, “The “Devious Maids” season kickoff also showed improvement in other demos, inching up 6 percent with the 25-54 crowd with 916,000 demo viewers, 12 percent among women 18-49 with 706,000 and three percent in women 25-54, with 684,000 viewers in the demo.”
