Marvel has just found their new Spider-Man and it’s Asa Butterfield.

According to Latino Review, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures Entertainment have found their new Spider-Man and it’s Asa Butterfield. Marvel revealed that the new Spider-Man would make his premiere in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie – which is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Marvel reported earlier this year that Marvel was looking for a younger actor to step into the role of Peter Parker to illustrate Spider-Man’s childhood instead of him as an adult. This new Spider-Man will be able to spend time in high school before growing up and entering into the real world.

Asa Butterfield will probably make his first appearance in Captain America: Civil-War followed by a solo Spider-Man movie with Sony and Marvel characters on July 28th.

Asa Butterfield was born in London, England. He started his acting career at the young age of 8, after a talent spotting casting director saw him at his local after school drama club, The Young Actors Theatre in London.

After several small roles in films, he was cast, at 10 as Bruno in ‘The Boy in the Striped Pajamas’. Since then he has been known for his roles in ‘Hugo,’ and ‘Ender’s Game’.
