An alleged terrorist bomb plot on the ‘Game of Thrones’ set was stopped by police in Northern Ireland.

According to a new report, police actually had to stop an alleged bomb plot that was targeting a group of ex-cops who provide security on the Northern Ireland set of the HBO series.

Irish Republican terrorists planned to plant explosives in a bin next to a catering unit at the Paint Hall Titanic Studios in Belfast, where former Royal Ulster Constabulary cops providing security on set of the hit HBO show took their meals.

But an informant tipped off officials, and security was beefed up dramatically.

The bomb plot had been discovered months ago but kept quiet.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the group responsible for the plot have not been identified and those targeted have been advised to increase their personal security.
