10 Things You Most Likely Did Not Know About Paul Walker

Actor Paul Walker — a self-styled adrenaline junkie best known for his role in “The Fast and the Furious” movies — was killed Saturday in a fiery single-car wreck in Southern California.

The 40-year-old Walker was riding in a red Porsche GT about 3:30 p.m. when the sports car flew off the road and slammed into a tree in Santa Clarita, authorities and witnesses said. The car burst into flames.

#10 Paul William Walker IV was born on September 12, 1973, in Glendale California.

#9 Paul Walker began acting when he was very young, appearing in many TV commercials.

#8 He  made guest appearances on several television shows including Charles in Charge (1984), Highway to Heaven (1984), Who’s the Boss? (1984) and Diff’rent Strokes(1978). Paul also had a role in the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1973).

#7 In 1987 Paul was cast in Programmed to Kill (1987) as the character Jason, and since then he has appeared in a steady stream of movies.  Walker also majored in Marine Biology at a California community college.

#6 He wanted to enroll in the US Army when the Gulf War first broke out.

#5 Was considered for the role of Johnny Storm in Fantastic Four (2005).
