Zoe Saldana’s New Movie Open Casting Call for Several Speaking Roles

Zoe Saldana‘s new movie is now casting multiple speaking roles in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming between mid-August through mid-September in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Details for the upcoming feature film have not been released. However, according to Indiewire, Zoe Saldana’s next project is a new romantic drama Keyhole Garden.

Perego-Saldana and Rick Rapoza wrote the movie script, which will follow the romance of a man and woman whose relationship conflicts with the divisiveness of life on America’s southern border. As Empire explains, “The film aims to be a timely exploration of the humanity of immigration and the fragility of life through three interwoven narratives: a young boy trying to save his undocumented friend from deportation; an immigration agent unknowingly dooming a former lover; and a cartel trafficker carrying out his last mission.”

Producers are seeking the following types:

  1. YOUNG ZOE SALDANA age 12-13 (Latina, Caribbean, Afro-American)
  2. YOUNG GARRETT HEDLUND age 11-12 (Caucasian with blue eyes) for speaking roles.
  3. Also searching for an 80-90-year-old Hispanic Female, Abuela
  4. 70-year-old Hispanic Female, both with preferably Mexican or New Mexican accent.

FEATURE FILM starring Zoe Saldana and Garrett Hedlund is searching for:

YOUNG ZOE SALDANA age 12-13 (Latina, Caribbean, Afro-American)
YOUNG GARRETT HEDLUND age 11-12 (Caucasian with blue eyes) for speaking roles.
Also searching for an 80-90-year-old Hispanic Female, Abuela, and 70-year-old Hispanic Female, both with preferably Mexican or New Mexican accent.
This is a SAG film and shoots mid-Aug-mid Sept in Albuquerque. If you are within 500 mile radius there is travel stipend and comp hotel available.
