YouTube‘s Karate Kid is now extras for a high school scene in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Friday, November 3rd in Atlanta, Georgia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Men and women to portray high school students
    Ages: 18-23
  • Minors to portray high school students
    Ages: 14-17
  • Men and women to portray high school faculty
    Ages: 30-55

About Karate Kid:

IMDB reports the new TV series will be set 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.

“The series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited,” the plot description on IMDB says.

The show will feature Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who will reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The 10 episode series will premiere on YouTube Red in 2018.
