Stephen Spielberg’s West Side Story remake will be holding an open casting call.

According to reports, 20th Century Fox will hold an open dance call on September 11th to find dancers to play Sharks and Jets in the upcoming movie musical West Side Story.

The upcoming West Side Story movie will be directed by Steven Spielberg and is a remake of the 1961 movie based on the 1957 Broadway musical.

Auditions will take place at  Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet in Brooklyn, with the sign-in for men beginning at 9 AM and the sign-in for women beginning at 1PM.

The casting call says aspiring actors and dancers should be between 15 to 25 years old with a strong background and ability to sing, and also says “the Sharks are Latinx, the Jets are Caucasian.”

Casting directors will also be accepting video submissions.
