Chicago Casting Call

Two TV pilots will be filming in Chicago in the next couple of weeks.

As TV pilot season ramps up production across the country, at least two projects are headed to the Windy City. According to the Chicago Tribune, NBC and FOX are setting their sights to Chicago.

The NBC drama “Love is a Four Letter Word,” from Diana Son, centers on three married couples. Per the Hollywood Reporter, the show will explore “what happens when race, sexuality and gender roles collide when three diverse couples put modern marriage to the test.

The Fox drama “Runner,” executive-produced by “thirtysomething” co-star Peter Horton, is based on a Turkish series about arms dealers.

“It centers on Lauren Marks who, after a simple twist of fate, learns that her husband is not the person she believed him to be,” according to Deadline. “Faced with the harsh reality that her life is forever changed, she goes on a truth-seeking journey that entrenches her in a U.S./Mexican war over weapons and terrorism.”

Shooting is expected to start in mid-March at Cinespace studios. We will keep you updated on casting calls, acting auditions, and job opportunities as soon as they become available.
