‘TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL’ is now holding online auditions for a lead role in the musical.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on the upcoming “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” in New York City.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Seeking: Girls 8 to 13 years old, African American or Mixed Race, between 4’2” and 4’11”. Must have a phenomenal singing voice, strong acting skills and move/dance very well!

About Tina: The Tina Turner Musical:


TINA: The Tina Turner Musical is a jukebox musical featuring the music of Tina Turner, and depicting her life from her youth in Nutbush, Tennessee, through her tumultuous relationship with Ike Turner, and comeback as a rock ‘n roll star in her 40s.

TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL is holding ONLINE OPEN CALL AUDITIONS for young actresses to play Young Anna Mae Bullock, AKA Young Tina Turner!

Seeking: Girls 8 to 13 years old, African American or Mixed Race, between 4’2” and 4’11”. Must have a phenomenal singing voice, strong acting skills and move/dance very well!

If you would like to send in a self-taped audition to be considered for this Broadway production please send in a self tape that includes ALL of the following:

  1. Clearly state your full name, date of birth, height and hometown at the beginning of your tape.
  2. Please sing the song “NUTBUSH CITY LIMITS” — sheet music, a teaching demo, and a track you can sing along with can be accessed at this link.
  3. Send your self-tape via a YouTube link (make sure if the link is private that you send us the password) or a Vimeo link to auditions@tinaonbroadway.com no later than July 2nd!

*Please note: All actresses who audition MUST be available from late August 2019 onward and must be a local New York City hire, which means that actresses must live in– or relocate to– the greater New York City area within commuting distance of the theatre in midtown Manhattan.
