The Hate U Give is now casting new talent in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Friday, April 6th and Sunday, April 8th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • We are looking for caucasian male police officer types
  • Then looking for some African American men to portray some specific protestors
  • Lastly looking for men and women 20’s to 40’s all ethnicities to portray press types

About The Hate U Give:

The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg will star in Fox 2000’s “The Hate U Give,” based on the upcoming debut novel by Angela Thomas. According to Fox 5 Atlanta, The Hate U Give is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia and Extras Casting Atlanta is now casting extras for the movie.

Thomas’ story follows a 16-year-old who attends a suburban prep school and must deal with the aftermath of witnessing a police officer shoot her unarmed best friend. When she is called to testify in court, she has to face the consequences of what she does or doesn’t say.
