Cougar Town is an American TV sitcom that premiered on ABC in 2009. It is set in Gulfhaven, Florida, where a recently divorced woman in her forties have to face the numerous and often time humorous challenges, pitfalls and rewards of of growing holder, along with her son, ex-husband and dysfunctional friends and family members. Cougar Town was created by Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel and is produced by Doozer, and Coquette Productions in association with ABC Studios.
Cougar Town is filmed in Culver Studios in Culver City, California. The first episode had well over 11 million viewers, and the ratings continue to grow. Recently, TBS had purchased the rights to the series for an additional 15 episode season, to air in 2013, with the option for additional seasons. Cougar town features Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez, and Brian Van Holt.
