‘Star Wars’ Director is Now Casting Lead Speaking Roles for a New Movie

Star Wars: Rogue One‘ director is now casting lead speaking roles for an upcoming feature film.

Jina Jay Casting, the casting company behind the Disney ‘Star Wars’ movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ is now casting speaking roles for an upcoming feature film.

Casting directors are currently looking for the following:

  • Looking for a bright, smart boy or girl with a sweet and thoughtful soul aged 8 years of age.
  • Heritage: East, South or South-East Asian for a lead role in a film by Gareth Edwards, the director of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.
  • Must speak excellent English, any accent.
  • Role required approximately 4 months and filming dates to be determined.

Please attach the following:

  • Recent photo (last 2 months)
  • A short chat to the camera telling casting directors about yourself for example favorite sportsperson and why or favorite music and why, favorite person or animal and why, favorite invention or object, etc.,
  • No more than 2 minutes long
  • No previous acting experience is required.

The deadline to apply is April 30th.

Since this role requires a child please ensure your parent/guardian gets in contact on your behalf. Casting directors can only apply to applicants who match the required heritage.
