“Psych” actor Corbin Bernsen Open Casting Call for Several Speaking Roles for his Next Film

Open Casting Call for over 200 speaking roles.

 

Corbin Bernsen, former L.A. Law and Psych actor has recently selected Central Valley City, Turlock, California as the location for his next movie. The untilted romantic comedy which Corbin Bernsen wrote and will direct, begins filming the first week of December.

“We’re very excited to head up to Turlock and make our next community-based film. That’s really what Home Theater Films is all about – making movies with a community for community,” Bernsen said.

The production is looking to cast about 200 speaking roles, walk-on and extra roles. Open auditions will be held November 25  through November 26 at the Pet Extreme in Turlock. Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to try out.

Corbin Bernsen gained his fame and acclaim playing the divorce lawyer Arnie Becker for all eight seasons of the hit drama ‘L.A. Law’. The role allowed him to earn an Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. The actor has crossed over into the big screen with movies such as ‘Major League’ and in 2010 Corbin Bernsen started writing and directing his won projects for Home Theater Films.

Bernsen will attend the open casting call later this month, which will fill a variety of limited speaking, walk-on and extra roles. The production also is looking for behind-the-scenes help and volunteers to work on the movie. Filming will run about two weeks, starting Dec. 5 and ending Dec. 18.
