Illinois Casting Call
Casting directors are now casting actors for NBC “Chicago Fire”.
NBC “Chicago Fire” is a new American TV drama series that airs on NBC on Wednesdays at 10:00 pm Eastern after the internationally known hit series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”.
“Chicago Fire” was created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and was produced by the original Law & Order creator Dick Wolf. But, “Chicago Fire” centers on the story and lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department. (The firehouse shown on television can actually be found in Engine 18’s Quarters located at 13th Street and Blue Island Avenue.)
Recently, The Hollywood Reporter commented on Dick Wolf’s preparation for Chicago Fire. They pointed out that “Dick Wolf was not looking to rewrite the playbook when he shepherded Chicago Fire to the small screen. That’s not what he does. He pounds stories into workmanlike form then wants them to run a strong 45 minutes and come back next week to do it again.”
Overall, Chicago Fire is an exciting new series that will definitely bring laughs and tears to millions watching.
