Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes is now casting actors, models, and talent to work on the new series filming in Charleston, South Carolina. Casting directors are now casting a ton of roles including stand-ins, kids, twins, and core police officers to work on the show.
About Mr. Mercedes:
Mr. Mercedes, based on Stephen King’s 2014 book of the same name, follows a demented killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.

Mr. Mercedes (Charleston, SC area) -Seeking Numerous STAND INS.
Pay Rate $125. Should be from Charleston or surrounding towns – no travel expenses or housing provided.
Must have flexible schedule and be available when needed starting mid January -first of June.
Several Characters will work many days per episode….while other characters may only work several days per episode.

MALES
# 1 – Caucasian Male, 6’1, Average Build, Light Brown, Dark Blonde, Strawberry Blonde Hair. Will be needed many days per episode. Submit with heading POSS MALE SI #1.
# 2 – Caucasian Male, 5’10, Slender Build, Lt -Medium Brown Hair.
Will be needed numerous days per episode. Submit with heading POSS MALE SI # 2.
# 3 -African American Male, 5’8 1/2, Slender build. This character is a teen so we may prefer to have this stand be 18 -20’s in age if possible. Will be needed one -to several days per episode. Submit with heading POSS MALE SI # 3.
FEMALES
# 1 Caucasian Female, Blonde, 5’9, Slender build, Will be needed one -to several days per episode. Submit with heading POSS FEMALE SI #1.
# 2 Caucasian Female, Dark Brown Hair, 5’7-5’8, Slender Build, Will be needed one to several days per episode. Submit with heading POSS FEMALE SI # 2.
# 3 Caucasian Female, 5’11, Slender Build, waiting on hair color -could be Red or Brown/Black. Will be needed one to several days per episode. Submit with heading POSS FEMALE SI # 3.

Ice Cream Truck Kids
MR. MERCEDES (Charleston, SC) – 5 Ice Cream Truck Kids Needed 1/17 & 1/25.
3 Street Hockey Teens 13-15 -do not need to skate or be on skates. Needed 1/17 & 1/25. These scenes will indeed film during school hours. Should be available both dates.
These Kids/Teens will be photo selected by production. We will be submitting photos on Friday.
If you have already submitted your child -you can simply send an on file -avail message with heading 1/17 & 1/25 Kid or 1/17 & 1/25 Hockey Teen.
If you have yet to submit your kid or teen and they would be 100% available on the filming dates listed -please include the following:

Twins Casting Call
MR. MERCEDES (Charleston, SC) -Seeking a set of TWINS. Caucasian Babies (preferably girls) 7-9 MONTHS OF AGE.
Pay Rate $ 500 -$250 per baby. Will be needed multiple filming days and nights.
Please submit current photos of each baby as well as photo of both babies together in one photo.
Submissions should include Current Photos, Babies Names, Parent’s Name, Date of Birth/ Age, Current height/weight, Clothing Sizes, City/State you reside.

Police Detectives Casting Call
Mr. Mercedes -Seeking a “CORE GROUP OF POLICE DETECTIVE TYPES” along with additional extras portraying Police officers and Detectives….this core group will be needed each time we are at the station or these detectives are needed outside of the station.
All Races, Males and a few Females. Males should have shorter neat hair cuts. Please be aware this 8-10 Detectives will be established at certain desk and needed numerous days per episode…so please do NOT submit for this if you do not have such availability.
These 8-10 do not have to be actual Police officers….however if you have such experience please include such in your submission or avail message.
If already on file with a previous submission -you can send a message stating you would be avail and wish to be considered with heading POSS CORE DETECTIVE.
