Netflix new sci-fi series casting call for several speaking roles in ‘Montauk’
Netflix is now casting for a new series. Netflix has ordered eight hour-long episodes of Montauk, sci-fi series that sounds like a mixture between ‘The X-Files’ and Steven Spielberg.
According to Deadline, Montauk centers around a young boy vanishes who into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl.
The show is from Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) and exec-produced by Shawn Levy.

Netflix ‘Montauk’ Casting Call
We are searching for strong regional actors in the Southeast area for a new Netflix series set in 1980 Montauk, Long Island.
Audition Dates: Week of June 1st in Charlottesville, VA and DC area
Callback Dates: Week of June 8th in Charlottesville, VA
Shoot/Start Date: October 2015
Shoot Location: New York
MIKE: Male, Caucasian, 12 years old. Mike is a cute, sweet, moppy-haired kid. SERIES REGULAR
DUSTIN: Male, Any Ethnicity, 12 years old. Dustin is the “King Geek.” SERIES REGULAR
JONATHAN: Male, Caucasian, 16 years old. Jonathan is mysterious, quiet, with long hair, pale skin, and a brooding manner. SERIES REGULAR
NANCY: Female, Caucasian, 16 years old. Nancy, girl-next-door pretty, is a book smart teen who is in the early stages of becoming a beautiful woman. SERIES REGULAR
