Producers are currently hiring crew members for the upcoming feature film ‘Mississippi Grind’ starring Ryan Reynolds.
New Orleans Film Commission posted a hiring notice for crew members to work in the upcoming feature film. Filming begins in late January 2014.
Producers are seeking crew members to fill various positions ranging from make up artists to grips, to electricians.
Ryan Reynolds is set to work with Ben Mendelsohn in the upcoming Mississippi Grind, along with writer and directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden. The upcoming flick centers on a gambler who runs into a losing streak. He teams up with a younger gambling addict, to change his luck. They travel through the South hoping for good luck to happen.
Buth Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden directed the feature films, Half Nelson and It’s Kind of a Funny Story.
The movie is produced by Electric City partners Jamie Patricof and Lynette Howell.
