Casting 18TLY LEAD Roles for Low-Budget Children’s Production

The CHER Foundation is currently casting NON-UNION 18 to-look-younger actors for LEAD roles in a new children’s program to air on thelifechannel.org

The show, ‘Healthy Heroes’ will focus on three super heroes and an antagonist that will teach valuable lessons about health to kids. Join Healthy Henry, Social Sally and Brainy Brian (and BB’s toy friend, Mr. Rapscallion) for adventures in timeless and quirky discoveries as they defend the park they play in from strange chaos!

Filming will take place on Fridays with rehearsals during the week, so actors must be flexible. If cast, the actors must be committed to filming an entire season (13 episodes) with the potential of more in the future.

The casting team is looking for the following LEAD roles:

Healthy Henry: 18 to-look-younger male, any ethnicity, physically fit, must have visible muscles, must appear to be 16-20.

Social Sally: 18 to-look-younger female, any ethnicity, must appear to be 16-20.

Alice (Healthy Henry’s sister): 18 to-look-younger female, andy ethnicity, must appear to be 16-20.

Experience with children is a plus, but not necessary.

Auditions are taking place on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 7-10 p.m. at the Whittier College Music Building (Arnold Hall) in room 204. Please park behind the Music building in the faculty parking lot on Olive Dr.

Please bring a resume and a high quality current photo to the audition.

Compensation includes copy & credit, with the potential of more if the show gets picked up. This is a great project for a resume builder that will hopefully create much more opportunity as the show goes on.
