After the success of the part adventure, part comedy, and part romance feature film, Kick Ass, Kick Ass 2 promises to be bigger and better than ever. The highly anticipated sequel to the 2010 classic has recently added Jim Carrey, according to the Hollywood Reporter. But, according to sources, casting calls and auditions for one of the biggest feature film productions of the upcoming year will be occurring soon, and you can apply today for consideration (source).

Kick Ass revolved on the crazy adventures of Dave Lizewski also known as Kick Ass. He is a normal high school student who one day decides to become a superhero despite not having any super powers, or any training what so ever. But, when a video of Kick Ass goes viral he becomes an instant hero and recruits a gang of other “Superheroes” to stop crime.
But, Kick Ass 2 will tell a different story. It will focus on the Red Mists revenge plot on Kick Ass and his crew of costumed “heroes” in what will be one of the biggest and most action packed films of the year.
Leading the cast will be Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Nicholas Cage, Chloe, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Red Mists. The new director Jeff Wadlow, known for Cry Wolf, Never Back Down has recruited Jim Carrey, John Leguizamo, Donald Faison, and Lindy Booth to the story of Kick Ass, and it sure to take the movie to new heights.
