Julia Roberts’ ‘Wonder’ NYC Casting Call for a Roller Coaster Scene

Wonder starring Julia Roberts is now casting extras for a Coney Island roller coaster scene in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for kid actors between the ages of 7 to 12 years old to portray young Coney Island roller coaster riders for the feature film Wonder. Filming will take place on Saturday, October 22nd or Sunday, October 23rd in Coney Island, New York. Kids must be comfortable riding a roller coaster.

About Wonder:

Academy Award winner Julia Roberts and child star Jacob Tremblay. Tremblay, the nine-year-old Langley actor who earned raves and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance opposite Brie Larson in the Oscar nominated Room, will play Auggie Pullman, a young boy with a facial deformity who struggles to fit in at a new school. The movie is under the production name of “Washer”.

Wonder Casting Call

GWC is seeking Children between 7-12 years old to portray Young Coney Island Roller Coaster Riders for the feature film “WASHER”. Works either Saturday 10/22 OR Sunday 10/23 in Coney Island. Must be comfortable with riding a roller coaster.

In the body of the email please include:
-your name
-union status
-child’s age
-phone number
-confirm you have full day availability for 10/22 OR 10/23 or BOTH
-note if your child is comfortable with riding a roller coaster
-confirm your child has a current valid work permit and trust account set up
– include a few current candid photos of your child
