HBO’s The Deuce is now casting for 1970s pedestrians in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Friday, May 17th in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWCI is seeking NON-UNION men & women ages 18-99 to portray 1970s pedestrians. Interior/exterior work in NYC area.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

GWCI is seeking NON-UNION men & women ages 18-99 to portray 1970s pedestrians. Interior/exterior work in NYC area.
Works FRIDAY 5/17. Fitting would be TOMORROW 5/16 in Long Island City, Queens. Everyone must attend a fitting before working.
Please do not submit if you have already been fit for The Deuce season 2 .
Everyone must be ok with atmospheric smoke!
*Men should have some length to their hair! No very modern haircuts, buzzcuts, fades, temple tapers, etc.
*Women: should have hair appropriate for 1977- no braids, dreadlocks, modern cuts, etc. No ombre, no overly done highlights.
