The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting seedy types in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for people to play seedy types on HBO’s The Deuce. Fittings will take place on August 25th in Brooklyn and filming will take place on Friday, August 26th.

“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

GWC is seeking NON-UNION People (18-99, all ethnicities) to portray Seedy Types
Fitting tomorrow 8/25 in Brooklyn
Works Friday 8/26 night shoot
Please note: You will be fit in winter wardrobe for both interior and exterior work in August/September.
Please do not submit if you’ve worked before!

-confirm you are non-union
-avail for fitting tomorrow
-avail for work on Friday 8/26
-all sizes: height, weight, suit, shirt, pants, and shoe
-recent selfies/candids that show your current look and hairstyle
-confirm no visible tattoos
-confirm ok working around atmospheric smoke

Men must have at least 1.5 inches of hair length.
African American men can provide their own afro wig (please note if you are willing to)
Everyone must have 2 valid forms of US-issued, unrestricted ID to work.
