HBO’s ‘The Deuce’ NYC Casting Call for Pool Players

The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting pool players in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for actors, models, and talented pool players to work on the new HBO series The Deuce. Producers are looking for Caucasian men to play 1970s pool players and wise guy types. Filming will take place on Monday, October 10th in New York City.

The Deuce James Franco Casting

“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

GWC is seeking SAG/NU Caucasian Men (21-99) to portray 1970s Pool Players for work on HBO’s The Deuce!
Seeking Wiseguy types

Must have high skill level in pool!

Fitting tbd in Brooklyn
Works Monday 10/10
Rate: Special Ability $172/8hrs

Please do not submit if you’ve worked before.

Men must have at least 1.5 inches of hair length all around. NO shaved heads, buzzcuts, shaved sides, etc.
No visible tattoos
Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke
Must have 2 valid forms of US-issued ID to work.
