New HBO Series ‘Videosyncrasy’ Open Casting Call

David Fincher’s HBO 1980s music video industry comedy, ‘Videosyncrasy’ is holding an open casting call in San Bernadino, California.

The director of ‘Fight Club,’ and ‘Gone Girl’ is heading his way to television with a new HBO series, ‘Videosyncrasy’.

HBO’s ‘Videosyncrasy’ is ramping up production in Los Angeles, California and Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for actors, models, and talent to work on the upcoming feature film.

According to Deadline, David Fincher’s HBO ‘Videosyncrasy’ series centers around 1980s Los Angeles and college dropout who movies to Hollywood in hopes of directing a sci-fi series. He ends up landing a job as a production assistant for a company that makes music videos. The same style of HBO’s Entourage, the show will revolve around a group of artists in the growing music video industry including directors, record executives and crew members.

Central Casting is looking for men and women who are 18 and older to work as PAID background actors for this new TV series. Filming is set to begin mid-May until mid-August.

The open casting call will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Hotel San Bernadino, California. This is a period show set in Los Angeles in 1983, if you can, please arrive to the open casting call with your hair and clothes in an 80’s look. The scenes are set in a “Coachella” type Heavy Metal music festival. Casting directors are looking for people with various looks: rockers, musicians, record label types, actors, models, music crew, security/sheriff types, and audience.

Producers are also looking for talent that have their hair style in a 1980s. Also, if you have a car that is in good-great condition, years 1975-1983.
