Poor Boy‘ directed by Guy Pearce is now casting lead speaking roles.

Casting directors are now hiring actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Sydney, Australia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Australia for a 7 – 10-year-old boy with a strong spirit of curiosity and intuition to play the lead role in the upcoming beautiful feature film POOR BOY directed by Guy Pearce.

About Poor Boy:

A little boy announces on his seventh birthday that he is a stranger named Danny, a grown man who died seven years earlier. The movie will be directed and will also star Guy Pearce.

Poor Boy follows two families whose lives become linked by events that occurred nearly a decade earlier. “As they experience loss, longing, belief, love, and hope, their emotional journey forces them to face many truths, as secrets emerge, and lies are uncovered. By the time the story reaches its redemptive finale, the characters have a deeper understanding of who they are, and of the strengths and weaknesses of their relationships, as they, and the audience, are left to question their own sense of self,” says the logline.
