Casting Directors are now casting for a Playstation commercial. Playstation is looking for models and actors for an upcoming ‘God of War’ commercial. This commercial is Non-Union and will be playd on the internet, in stores, and will be used in live events. It will be for three years and will be broadcasted for 1 year.

Interviews will be held September 6^th, and September 7^th in Los Angeles and expect one week for a callback. The shooting for the commercial will be held on October 25th and October 26^th.

The payrate is 600.00 session fee (12 hours) plus a 5,000 complete buyout not also including a Wardrobe and Rehearsal compensation.

Casting Breakdown

KRATOS
Details:
“Trailer” / Male / Principal / Caucasian, Ethnically Ambiguous / 30 – 35
Description:
KRATOS is the ultimate solider/warrior and family man. EXTREMELY good body image. Talent should be between 6’2″ – 6’7″ tall. Weight: 220# – 250 # MUSCULAR BUILD. Bodybuilder physique is needed for this role. Exotic dark European/ancient Grecian look is good for this role. BALD head or willing to shave bald for the role. Good actor who is tough and masculine, yet is able to show his sensitive side as he leaves his wife (LYSANDRA) and daughter (CALLIOPE), to go off to war. Talent must be able to display the emotions of sadness, determination, and rage. He must be able to deliver an anguished yell, as if he’s seen someone that he loves, die in front of his eyes. This role will require make-up test days, fittings, and bodyscan. 1 shoot day (3 days total) Think: Starz SPARTACUS warrior.
Wardrobe:
Bare-chested with form fitting shorts or warrior’s soroung around his waist and sandals. Please google character for reference.

LYSANDRA (MOTHER)
Details:
“Trailer” / Female / Principal / Caucasian, Ethnically Ambiguous / 20 – 30
Description:
MEDITERRANEAN, HANDSOME BEAUTY. Height: 5′ – 5’5″ tall. Weight: 95# – 110#. Dark-haired, brunette, woman with long hair (at least shoulder length) who can portray the mother of a determined little girl, CALLIOPE. Exotic dark European/ancient Grecian look is good for this role. Extremely good actor needed for this role who can display a series of emotions. During the scenes, she holds her young daughter’s hand as they both watch her father KRATOS, go off to war. LYSANDRA is proud and solemn, yet nervous about the danger that lies ahead. Talent must be able to realistically play intense emotions that include horror, disbelief and grief. She must also have the ability to show compassion, warmth and laughter with a loving gaze.
Wardrobe:
Simple tunic style dress with rope as a sash (Egyptian style) and sandals (lace up if available)

CALLIOPE (DAUGHTER)

“Trailer” / Female / Principal / Caucasian, Ethnically Ambiguous / 6 – 9
Description:
Target age for this role is 6 years old, however older talent 6-9 who look younger are preferred. Height: 4′ – 4’5′. Weight: 75#. (approx) Cute, wide-eyed, Mediterranean, dark-haired, brunette, girl with long hair (at least shoulder length) who can portray intense emotion and determination. Exotic dark European/ancient Grecian look is good for this role. CALLIOPE becomes an emotional conduit that draws in KRATOS (warrior) to her heart. Must be a thoughtful and intelligent performer who can RUN fast and for a long time, as if being chased. Must be able to show curiosity, wonder, joy and laughter, as well as being very serious when called on. GOOD ACTOR.
