Fences starring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis is now casting extras in Pittsburgh.

Movie Casting PGH is now casting extras and stand-ins to work on the Denzel Washington movie Fences. 

The open casting call will take place:

WHEN: SATURDAY, MARCH 19th, 2016
FROM: 9AM-4PM
LOCATION: David L. Lawrence Convention Center 1000 Fort Duquesne Blvd
Pittsburgh, PA 15222

Filming will take place in and around Pittsburgh, PA from April 15th to early June 2016. Casting directors are looking for male and female background artists, children, teenagers, adults & senior citizens of all ages and ethnicities!

About Fences:

The original movie took place in 1987 with James Earl Jones as the lead role. Denzel Washington won a Tony in 2010 alongside Viola Davis.

Denzel Washington will star alongside Viola Davis in the HBO film adaptation.

WE ARE NOW CASTING EXTRAS/STAND INS FOR THE FEATURE FILM “FENCES” STARRING DENZEL WASHINGTON & VIOLA DAVIS!

STORY LINE: Fences explores the interpersonal relationships of the Maxson family in late 1950s Pittsburgh. The head of the household Troy Maxson struggles to find his proper place in the world having been kept out of professional baseball because of his age. Throughout the story his wife (Rose), brother (Gabriel) sons (Cory and Lyons) and best friend (Bono) feel the weight of his dissatisfaction with what the world has handed him. Though their love and loyalty to one another are put through the ultimate test, the strength of their bond prevails.
