An upcoming feature film is now casting families and kid actors in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on July 5th or July 9th in New Orleans, Louisiana. Details for the movie have not been released. However, according to the New Orleans Film Commission, Jennifer Lawrence’s “Untitled Soldier Project” is now filming in the Louisiana area. This will be Jennifer Lawrence’s first project since her leave from acting. The untitled new film project, written by first-time screenwriter Elizabeth Sanders, will mark the directorial debut of Lila Neugebauer.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • CANDY KID (works 7/5): Seeking submissions for boys and girls (any ethnicity, 6 – 8 years old) to work as a child smearing chocolate on his or her face. This is a picture picked, non-speaking role. Your child must feel comfortable smearing chocolate on his or her face. This will be an afternoon call time working into the late night, likely around midnight.
  • FAMILIES (works 7/5): Seeking submissions for families (2 parents and 3 children) (any ethnicity, ages 6 and up) to work as Families in a Bus Station Terminal. This will be an afternoon call time working into the late night, likely around midnight. Parents should be 18+ years old and children should be 6+ years old.

** In order to work, all minors must be permitted through the Louisiana Labor Board. For a Central Casting representative to submit a minor permit, we must have minor’s proof of age: like a photo ID *OR* birth certificate *AND* the minor’s social security card. If booked, we must receive these documents by Friday, June 28th! **
