‘Deadpool 2’ Principal Role Casting Call Leaks Online

Deadpool 2 is now casting

Even though Deadpool just celebrated its one-year anniversary of success last weekend, it looks as though the production team behind Deadpool 2 is ramping up auditions. According to reports, casting directors and producers are now searching for actors to star as the major Marvel Comics characters to join Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming Deadpool feature film.

While a few names including Pierce Brosnan’s have already been suggested to play the role of Cable, there still hasn’t been any word on who will be playing Domino. But, reports suggest 20th Century Fox is currently casting actors to play Domino in the upcoming feature film.

The studio has just released a casting call for the part of Domino and The Hastag Show’s insider has just revealed the details on the type of person Twentieth Century Fox is looking for.

Referring to the character by her real first name, Neena, the casting call searches for an actress that is of course:

– Female

– All ethnicities

– Late 20s – early 30s

– Sexy, lithe and athletic

– She has a witty personality.

– Neena is a no-nonsense badass who rarely shows her feeling. Highly capable, supremely confident and armored in . . . well ARMOR . . . and bullet-proof sarcasm. But beneath her shell she’s still and vulnerable and some soft, beating remnant of her humanity remains intact. In this scene we need to see both sides. When she can’t get what she needs with insults, bluster and threats we need to see some of that vulnerability.  It’s hard for her to let down her guard, and in the mercenary community she grew up in showing compassion is almost embarrassing. We should feel like she’d be more comfortable killing Silberman than saying “Please”.

Actresses reportedly considered for the role include Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sienna Miller, and Kerry Washington. Based on the casting call, Twentieth Century Fox isn’t too strict on Domino’s look, focusing instead on the acting skill and personality. If you’re interested in a role, I highly suggest talking to your agent.
