Upcoming ‘Dark Lady’ Indie Film Open Casting Call in New York City
Dark Lady is based on the song “Dark Lady” by Cher. It is a story about love, mystery and deception. A young schoolteacher, Belle becomes intrigued by a fortune teller who is related to a case her detective fiancée, Peter is working on. Until she realizes she might be intrigued by the wrong reasons.
This is my thesis film for School of Visual Arts. I have been working on this idea for over two years and am very excited to be creating it. Shooting will be in February. Film will premiere in May.
LOOKING TO CAST
Belle– 26. Female. Loving. Curious. Honest. Genuinely Happy. She is a day person. She is an Elementary school teacher. She is very organized and tidy. She is in love with Peter. She’s fascinated by mystery. She believes in truth and honesty.
Peter– 30. Male. Confident. In charge. Strong. He is a detective. He is obsessed with his job. He is engaged to Belle. He works hard, plays hard. He likes to go out on the weekends with his friends and try new things. He is adventurous.
