CBS New Series ‘Supergirl’ Open Casting Call

Project Casting

CBS new superhero series ‘Supergirl’ is now casting extras to work on the series in Los Angeles, California

CBS has given ‘Supergirl’ a new series pickup for the 2015-2016 season. The series stars Melissa Benoist (Glee, Whiplash) as the main character and will be the third DC Comics TV series, following the success of CW’s ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’. However, it is important to point out that another ‘Flash’ spinoff is also in the works at CW.

‘Supergirl’ follows Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, at age 24, when she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she always wanted to be, after leaving Krypton and hiding her powers. ‘Supergirl’ features Calista Flockhart, who will play Kara’s boss at CatCo. Mehcad Brooks will co-star as Kara’s love interest.

Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for extras to work on the new CBS ‘Supergirl’ TV series while it films in Los Angeles, California.
