Wilmington, North Carolina – Bolden movie casting call for featured roles to work on a bar scene in Wilmington, NC.

‘Bolden’ is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. ‘Bolden’ centers on a mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans. According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle HaleyOmari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.

Casting directors are looking for actors, models, and talent to play Creole ladies, “Bailys Mills” ladies, African American workers, teens, and Caucasian men in suits. Filming will take place on December 8th in Wilmington, North Carolina.

BODLEN – For Monday’s fittings (Dec 1st) we need the following NEW FACES:

*15 Creole ladies (ages 18-25), dress size 8 or smaller. No large visible tattoos. (to film Dec 8th)

*20 Bailys Mills African American ladies, ages 18 – 35), dress size 12 or smaller. You’ll be in long dresses, so no visible tattoos on neck/hands/face/head. (to film Dec 4th and possibly 8th)

*20 African American Men (workers) ages 18 and up. No visible tattoos (shoulders okay, but no big tats on forearms please). (to film Dec 5th and 8th)

*5 African American Teen Boys (ages 12-16 looking). No braces, dreads, nor ear gauges. (to film Dec 5th & 8th)

*20 Caucasian MEN IN TAILS, suit sizes 40 or 42 please. (to film Dec 5th and 8th).

Background actors in this film make $112/12, + a bump for your wardrobe fitting.
