New York City Casting Call – Mozart in the Jungle Casting Call for violin players in New York City.
Casting directors for Amazon.com TV series “Mozart in the Jungle” is looking for an excellent violinst to work as a photo double on the new show. Producers are looking for someone who knows how to mime the solo part of Sibelius Violin Concerto in D Minor.
The project is based on the memoir Mozart in the Jungle by Blair Tindall. Mozart in the Jungle is all about sex, drugs—and classical music—and shows that what happens behind the curtains at the symphony can be just as captivating as what happens on stage.
Filming takes place on Monday, October 27th and casting directors are looking for an older Caucasian male actor ages 50 to 75, and height 5’4 to 5’7.
