ABC’s “Stateless” Starring Cate Blanchett Casting Call for Speaking Roles

ABC’s “Stateless” casting call for speaking roles in South Australia.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming throughout June to August 2019 in South Australia and Indonesia.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Afghan women
  • Aged 28 to 35 years old
  • Must live in Australia and speak fluent Dari
  • No acting experience required
  • All roles are paid

All applicants must have a current valid Australian passport, and must be available for filming in South Australia and Indonesia between 27th May and 16th August. All accommodation, meals, travel, etc will be provided.

About ABC’s “Stateless”:

Stateless is an upcoming Australian television drama series set to screen on ABC in 2019. The series centers on four strangers in an immigration detention center in the Australian desert: an airline hostess escaping a suburban cult, an Afghan refugee fleeing persecution, a young Australian father escaping a dead-end job and a bureaucrat caught-up in a national scandal. When their lives intersect they are pushed to the brink of sanity, yet unlikely and profound emotional connections are made amongst the group. The show stars Cate Blanchett.
