ABC ‘American Crime’ Television pilot is still casting talent to work in the new production filming in Austin, Texas.
On Location Casting is looking for background actors to portray dive bar customers and waitresses.
American Crime centers on a racially charged murder the subsequent trial, which are examined through the personal lives of the people involved in the crime. The case gets bigger and bigger, becoming a point of conversation in America’s views on race, class and gender politics. The series is written and executive produced by Oscar Winning Screenplay writer John Ridley.
Filming will take place in Austin, Texas this Tuesday, March 25th. For more details see the casting call details below:
AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – ABC Television series “American Crime” for work on TUESDAY 3/25/14.
Pay rate is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour) plus overtime paid after 8 hours (if necessary).
You MUST have proof of Texas Residency in the form of a Texas Driver’s License or ID, Texas College ID or Texas Voter’s Registration Card.
Location is in AUSTIN, TX area.

DIVE BAR CUSTOMER with BEATER CAR: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 21-60. Cars need to be in fair or okay shape – nothing new – oxidation, missing parts, etc. NO red, white or black. Please submit your year/make/model/color of vehicle.
DIVE BAR DANCING COUPLE: Prefer REAL couple. All ethnicities, age range 35-60, be comfortable dancing with each other.
