Netflix new series The Get Down is looking for Ivy League types in New York City.

Netflix casting directors are looking for Caucasian men ages 30 to 50 to play Ivy League types to work on a scene fitting on Wednesday, January 13th in Glendale, Queens and filming on Friday, January 15th.


About Netflix’s The Get Down:

The Get Down centers around the emerging music scene in the 1970’s. The 70’s featured the birth of punk rock and hip hop. The show will be set in New York City which is also the home of an excssive crime rate and corruption. According toVariety,“The Get Down” will focus on a group of teens living in the South Bronx as music develops and explodes in the borough around them.

Seeking NONUNION Caucasian Men 30s-50s to portray 1970s Ivy League Types for work on Baz Lurhmann Netflix series THE GET DOWN.
Fitting Wed 1/13 in Glendale, Queens. Works Friday 1/15.

Please note: ALL MEN must have 1970s appropriate hair, and must be ok with a haircut or facial hair alterations, if needed. NO shaved heads, buzzcuts, modern haircuts, etc.

-confirm avail for fitting 1/13 and work 1/15
-confirm ok with haircut/facial hair alterations if necessary
