The New Orleans Film Commission announced that the feature film "Selfless" will start filming in September 2013 and they are currently accepting crew resumes for various positions on the film.

'Deadpool 3' Set to Resume Filming Before Thanksgiving

In recent days, <a title="Ryan Reynolds" href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/ryan-reynolds/">Ryan Reynolds</a> has been promoting his new holiday film Spirited, starring Will Ferrell. In an interview with Big Issue published over the weekend, Reynolds revealed that he had tried to make a Christmas film featuring his signature character Deadpool.

Reynolds went on to explain the future of Deadpool and what audiences can hope to see down the line. "I would love to see a song-and-dance number in a Deadpool movie. Four years ago, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and I wrote a Christmas movie starring Deadpool. But it got lost in the shuffle of Disney acquiring Fox, and it never got made." He continued, "Maybe one day we'll get to make that movie. It's not a musical, but it's a full Deadpool Christmas movie. So one day."
It has yet to be announced, but it looks like Reynolds is considering making a Christmas-themed Deadpool movie. This wouldn't be the first time he's done something like this. In 2018, he released a PG-13 holiday version of Deadpool 2 with the new title, Once Upon a Deadpool.
We are still determining if Deadpool will be made into a Christmas film in the coming years.

According to press reports, Marvel Studios has now signed on Oscar-nominated director Shawn Levy to helm Deadpool 3.
Action star Ryan Reynolds will once again collaborate with Joe Manganiello to play the titular character in the third installment of the Deadpool franchise, which is expected to be released in 2022. The sequel to Deadpool 2 will also be Wade's (Reynolds) debut appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reese and Wernick, who wrote both Deadpool movies, are also returning to pen the script for the threequel.
Levy is best known for directing all four films in the Night at the Museum franchise as well as Real Steel and Strangers Things. He is currently working on Free Guy, an action-comedy starring Reynolds that is set for release on July 3, 2020.
With the signing of Levy, Marvel Studios is putting all its eggs in the Reynolds basket and gambling that the popular actor-director can finally bring the Deadpool franchise to box office glory. The first two Deadpool movies were modest hits but failed to break even domestically, earning just over $1.5 billion in total ticket sales. However, with China now being the world's second-largest film market, Marvel may be hoping that Levy can help Deadpool 3 perform better overseas.

Deadpool, also known as the "Merc with a Mouth", is a Marvel Comics superhero character. Created by artist Rob Liefeld and writer Fabian Nicieza, Deadpool first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (Feb. 1991).
Ryan Reynolds portrays the character in the X-Men film franchise, first appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and later starring in Deadpool (2016), Deadpool 2 (2018), and the upcoming Deadpool 3 (2022). He will also appear in an unspecified role in The New Mutants (2020).
Deadpool is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of accelerated healing. He adopts the name "Deadpool" after being recruited into Weapon X, and is known for his talkative nature, his tendency to break the fourth wall, and his references to popular culture.
The character's popularity has seen him appear on numerous merchandise items, such as clothing and collectibles, and he has been featured in video games, cartoons, and a live-action TV series. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Deadpool is depicted by Ryan Reynolds.

With the signing of Levy, Marvel Studios is putting all its eggs in the Reynolds basket and gambling that the popular actor-director can finally bring the Deadpool franchise to box office glory. The first two Deadpool movies were modest hits, earning just over $1.5 billion in total ticket sales. However, with China now being the world's second-largest film market, Marvel may be hoping that Levy can help Deadpool 3 perform better overseas.

Marvel Studios has hired Shawn Levy to direct Ryan Reynolds in "Deadpool 3."

According to press reports, Marvel Studios has now signed on Oscar-nominated director Shawn Levy to helm Deadpool 3.

Action star Ryan Reynolds will once again collaborate with Joe Manganiello to play the titular character in the third installment of the Deadpool franchise, which is expected to be released in 2022. The sequel to Deadpool 2 will also be Wade's (Reynolds) debut appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Reese and Wernick, who wrote both Deadpool movies, are also returning to pen the script for the threequel.
