The shoot will consist of two stages: first, a casting on the 6th and 7th of March, followed by fittings on the 8th of March, and the actual shoot between the 9th and 10th of March. All of this will take place in-studio at Carter's.vc
Regarding sizes, they are looking for models ranging from 6-9M Baby Girls to 7Y Boys, including siblings and special needs. If you fit any of these criteria, this might just be your chance to break into modeling!
Not only that, but the rates are quite competitive too - each fitting will be a $100 flat fee while babies under 2yrs old will have a pay rate of $375 per day, while kids over 2yrs old will have a $500 per day rate.

The book follows the story of two young boys, Dogge and Billy, as they are lured into becoming runners for ruthless gang boss Mehdi. They were enticed by his promise of fast cash, easy drug access, and the dream of achieving their own identity - something that would have been impossible without Mehdi's involvement. By twelve years old, these ambitious boys had already joined his team, an opportunity that was hard to pass up due to its endless potential.
As the boys' job takes an unexpected turn for the worse, they find themselves indebted to Mehdi in a way that is impossible to repay. Billy begins yearning to escape from the gang's clutches and turns towards Farid, a police officer who has been part of their lives since childhood. He assures him of assistance on his quest back to normalcy.
Billy's family is quickly ensnared in Mehdi's relentless grasp, and there appears to be no easy escape. How can they pay Billy's debt, and how will Dogge manage when his best friend abruptly leaves him? As the pressure from Mehdi mounts, tensions climax until Dogge finally takes action with a single pull of the trigger.

Season 1 premiered on the 16th of December and immediately took No. 3 in Nielsen's U.S. ranking for streaming originals after its first three days of eligibility - a feat it also achieved during its second week!
"I'm thrilled to dive back into the fun, funny, action-packed world of The Recruit," series creator Alexi Hawley said in a statement Thursday. "Seeing how invested our audience became in the show's adventurous take on the spy world and Noah's turn as Owen has been incredibly rewarding, and I can't wait to turn it all up to' 11' in Season 2."
The talented Noah Centineo has been added to the cast of EP/star. "I know I speak for our entire cast and executive team at eOne and Netflix when I say that we are thrilled to be returning to The Recruit for a second season. I'm looking forward to seeing what Alexi Hawley has in store for us all."
Centineo stars as Owen Hendricks in The Recruit, a riveting film for those who have yet to watch it. "a young CIA lawyer whose first week on the job turns upside down when he discovers a threatening letter by former asset Max Meladze (Laura Haddock), who plans to expose the agency unless they exonerate her of a serious crime," according to the official logline. "Owen quickly becomes entangled in a dangerous and often absurd world of power politics and mischievous players as he travels the world in hopes of completing his assignment and making a mark at the CIA."
As Netflix reports, Season 2 will resume from the intense climax of Season 1; Owen and Max were in peril when we left them.

Cartoon Saloon is hard at work bringing Louise Bagnall's (Late Afternoon) Oscar-nominated directorial debut, Juli&aacute;n, to life. This picture book adaptation of Jessica Love's beloved novel Juli&aacute;n is a Mermaid will surely capture the hearts and minds of viewers everywhere!

"I've never adapted anything before," the director told Cartoon Brew about her next project. But when Juli&aacute;n is a Mermaid was brought to the studio by David Yate's Wychwood Media, Bagnall looked through the material and knew "it was a project that I can feel passionate about, but also something that speaks to me artistically, visually, thematically. And more importantly, what did I want to spend years of my life working on?"
In the production process, we connected with author and illustrator Jessica Love to brainstorm potential designs for the book. According to Bagnall, "It's a great jumping-off point, the book, in terms of the visuals. There's so much vibrancy&hellip; and it's been really exciting as well to explore the world. We're able to expand it."
To expand Love's book into a feature animation project, the team determined that it was necessary to extend its narrative timeline since the story is quite brief.
&ldquo;[The book is] one lovely afternoon. We dug a little bit deeper, and we've expanded out our scope and timeframe as well," explained Bagnall. According to the film's creators, we can expect an entire summer of adventures with Juli&aacute;n and his Abuela as they explore all that life has to offer.
The project's official synopsis reads:
The wide-eyed Juli&aacute;n spends a summer of discovery in New York City with his Abuela. Nearly strangers, they brace themselves for tense conversations and new adventures. The colorful chaos of Abuela's world, and the stories she tells him, awakens something within Juli&aacute;n&hellip; questions about who he is and who he could be. Juli&aacute;n's journey will reach across the diaspora, from Brooklyn block to the ocean's depths, in an intergenerational ebb and flow. Through Abuela's world, Juli&aacute;n explores his identity, gender expression, and the hidden heritage of his family.
As is typical of the Cartoon Saloon style, Bagnall and her team decided to incorporate more fantasy elements. "I can tell you that there's definitely magic in the story; he will meet a mermaid goddess," she said. The film will also adhere to another of the studio's tenets, traditional animation. Bagnall predicted, "I do think we're still gonna embrace a lot of the stuff that we all love in the Saloon, which is like a hand-drawn feeling."
With an Oscar-nominated short film, Late Afternoon, under her belt, and recently assistant directed Netflix's My Father's Dragon for Nora Twomey. Bagnall is no amateur when it comes to directing, and she has been ardently working on the development of Juli&aacute;n in collaboration with screenwriter Juliany Taveras for quite some time now - although a feature-length movie hasn't emerged yet.
Cartoon Saloon has an acclaimed reputation for its visually captivating animation. However, Bagnall insists that getting the story right is paramount. "We've got the artists; we've got the interest in making the visuals look good. I wasn't exactly worried about that, I knew we'd get there with the visual development, whereas I wanted to make sure that we were gonna tell the story that we really wanted to tell."
Cartoon Saloon has joined forces with Folivari, Sun Creature, Aircraft Pictures, and Wychwood Media to create Juli&aacute;n. Although production is yet to begin, Bagnall can speak out confidently about the project, knowing they're in safe hands. "I think we're essentially at the end of our development period now. I've been working on it for a little while&hellip; we're not out of development yet, but we're very much gearing up towards the next step, which is pre-production."
Thematically, in Juli&aacute;n and the Mermaid, the protagonist explores an awakening of gender expression. Bagnall feels the brilliance of the book is that "it's not prescriptive. It doesn't like, go ahead and label things&hellip; It's actually opening up a question and letting the audience project their own feelings or their own experiences there."
She was profoundly touched by the narrative's inquisitive and exploratory approach, providing her with a unique opportunity to gain new perspectives. "That's something that feels genuine. For a lot of kids, there is an age when you explore things. There's an age where gender expression can be a big part of that for certain."
By including a character like Juli&aacute;n in this film, there is an unparalleled opportunity to create meaningful impact and "to both be able to show that there is an expression and there's an exploration, and there's a question that he's beginning to ask, and there's a desire to find out more about his own at wants and his own desire to express himself," Bagnall said.
She went on, "We're talking about something that actually affects a lot of people. They feel like they have something to say on it. So, between the writer, between myself, between the different members of the team that we're gonna have on board, I think we'll have a good way of collaborating together and talking about these things as we're making the film so that we're not just coming at it from a one-note perspective."
According to Bagnall, Juli&aacute;n is crafted for a pre-teen demographic that can easily relate and connect to the main character, but that "Juli&aacute;n's journey is gonna be something that a lot of old adults, young adults, will relate to as well. Because I think these things have come up and do come up with questions about how do you express your identity and even cultural identity. How can things grow?"
In March, Bagnall and Cartoon Saloon will introduce their project Juli&aacute;n to the French event Cartoon Movie.

Now in The Pocketwatch movie, viewers can travel through a rabbit hole into an unfamiliar and unpredictable Wonderland - the same magical destination made famous by Alice in Wonderland!
To avert a forthcoming coup in Auradon during the celebration of the newborn royal baby, Red &ndash; the sharp and rebellious daughter of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland &ndash; must work alongside Chloe, Princess Cinderella's perfectionist, and athletic daughter. <h2 class="p1">Police in Indiana fired a gunshot at a man who they allegedly believed they thought was a thief.</h2>
According to Fox 8<a href="http://fox8.com/2017/09/27/police-in-indiana-shoot-at-actor-portraying-bank-robber/"> Cleveland</a>, police officers shot at a man they believed was a robber but was in actuality an actor playing one.
The incident occurred after Indiana State Police responded to the scene at Backstep Brewing Co. in Crawfordsville, Indiana when actor Jim Duff exited the building, wearing a ski mask and holding a gun, police thought he was a suspect they were reportedly looking for.
Duff was facing away from the officers when they ordered him to drop his weapon. When he turned around to face them, one officer fired his gun, according to Fox 8 Cleveland.
The officer’s shot missed and no one was hurt. Duff reportedly then pulled off his ski mask, dropped his gun and proceeded to tell officers he was only an actor and they were on a movie set.
Apparently, the brewery and the production company allegedly did not notify anyone that a movie was being filmed at that location.

Police Shoot at Actor Playing a Bank Robber

Several months ago <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/news/atlanta-carjacking">Queen Latifah's car was carjacked</a> while she was working on the hit Fox TV series <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/star/">Star</a>. Atlanta police officers were later able to find the car outside of an apartment complex in Atlanta.
According to the Fulton County police report, someone left behind lemonade and fruit punch bottles inside the car. The carjacking was a bit of a shock and quickly became national news.
But, carjackings is becoming more of a problem in Atlanta. In fact, the current Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington Jr., responded by saying people are “under attack”.
Now, background extras working on the set of the new season of Spartan Challenge had their cars broken into last night. Many of those who were affected by the robbery took to Facebook to share their thoughts, feelings, and frustrations.
"I would be more than happy to provide lot security for an acceptable rate," one Atlanta extra wrote on Facebook.
Another person explained that was the reason why the Braves decided to leave Turner Field. "No bueno! But how ironic with the Braves' opening night tonight &amp; the crime at Turner Field (among other things) was the reason for the move...," he said on Facebook.
Casting directors took to Facebook and issued a statement regarding the situation:

“Ok let me set the record straight. We had two tapings for Spartan Race last night. 7pm and 11:30pm. When the people front he 11:30pm taping returned to their cars, 12 had been broken into. Not 30 not 40. It was 12. It sucked. Police reports were filed and the producer gave his personal email out to the victims. I demanded the situation be handled or I would cancel all the BG for the remaining nights. They replaced the security company with another and are doubling the staff. My assistants will confirm with the security that they are there the entire time. ~ Rose
</blockquote>
Thankfully, those affected will be assisted by the producers and production.
"I just got off with the line producer and production will taking care of those affected," the casting company later added.

Cars Broken into While Atlanta Extras Were Working on Set

<h2>There are now 60 different women claiming that Bill Cosby sexually assaulted them.</h2>
On Sunday, the <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/two-more-women-allege-assaults-by-bill-cosby-total-now-60/2016/08/07/e8feb1f0-5b1e-11e6-831d-0324760ca856_story.html?postshare=1391470609536086&amp;tid=ss_tw">Washington Post</a> reported that two more women have come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them. With their allegations, the number of woman claiming abuse by Cosby has hit a jaw-dropping 60.

The accusers both wanted to remain anonymous but, their stories align with the previous allegations against Cosby. The stories of these two women are quite familiar. It allegedly starts off with drinks, an invitation to Cosby's private space, a blurry stretch of time in which a woman was unconscious, and waking to the awareness that something was wrong. Cosby, through his legal team, has repeatedly denied all accusations of sexual misconduct.

One of the accusers tells the Post about an incident in Bill Cosby's hotel room in the mid-1980s, where they met Bill Cosby after he performed at Clemson University. She drank a Kahlua and coffee, she says, and then Cosby asked her,&nbsp;&#147;Do you like back rubs or belly rubs?&#148; She rubbed his belly; she passed out.

Another accuser was a booker for a modeling agency when she met Bill Cosby in 1984. She went to dinner with Bill Cosby and a model from her agency and, later that night, called her friend, Tony Hogue, and begged him to come get her.&nbsp;<a class="markup--anchor markup--p-anchor" href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/two-more-women-allege-assaults-by-bill-cosby-total-now-60/2016/08/07/e8feb1f0-5b1e-11e6-831d-0324760ca856_story.html?postshare=1391470609536086&amp;tid=ss_tw" data-href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/two-more-women-allege-assaults-by-bill-cosby-total-now-60/2016/08/07/e8feb1f0-5b1e-11e6-831d-0324760ca856_story.html?postshare=1391470609536086&amp;tid=ss_tw">Hogue told the Post</a> that she felt &#147;very uncomfortable,&#148; saying her &#147;clothes were messed up&#148; and that Cosby had touched and kissed her. When Hogue asked if she wanted Cosby&#146;s driver to take her home, Hogue remembered, Jane Doe told him &#147;she couldn&#146;t even really move.&#148;

When Hogue arrived at Cosby's house,&nbsp;&#147;<a class="markup--anchor markup--p-anchor" href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/two-more-women-allege-assaults-by-bill-cosby-total-now-60/2016/08/07/e8feb1f0-5b1e-11e6-831d-0324760ca856_story.html?postshare=1391470609536086&amp;tid=ss_tw" data-href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/two-more-women-allege-assaults-by-bill-cosby-total-now-60/2016/08/07/e8feb1f0-5b1e-11e6-831d-0324760ca856_story.html?postshare=1391470609536086&amp;tid=ss_tw">he banged on Cosby&#146;s door for a long time</a>." And when Cosby came to the door, Cosby acted like nothing was wrong. Hogue's friend left with HOgue, as did model Beth Ferrier, another woman who is now suing Bill Cosby for sexual assault.

It's important to point out that the earliest accusations date all the way back to the 1960s. Sunni Welles said she met Cosby in the 1960s when she was 17 years old and he allegedly spiked her soda after taking her to a jazz club and when she woke up she says she'd been assaulted.

There are several other accusations including film executive Cindra Lodd who said in 1969 BIll Cosby gave her a pill for a headache and she woke up naked in a bed in Cosby's friend's apartment, she claims,&nbsp;&#147;It was obvious to me that he had sex with me,&#148; , and she was so &#147;horrified, embarrassed and ashamed,&#148; she didn&#146;t discuss the night in question with anyone but her roommate for 36 years.

Cosby has <a href="http://theweek.com/speedreads/555357/bill-cosby-addresses-sexual-misconduct-allegations-first-time">maintained his innocence</a> and repeatedly denied the allegations. In November 2014, in response to a question about the allegations, Cosby said: "I don't talk about it."&nbsp;Cosby has declined to publicly discuss the accusations in past interviews.&nbsp;However, he told Florida Today, "people shouldn't have to go through that and shouldn't answer to innuendos."In May 2015 he said, "I have been in this business 52 years and I've never seen anything like this. Reality is a situation and I can't speak."

Following the allegations several organizations have cut their ties with Bill Cosby. Reruns of&nbsp;The Cosby Show&nbsp;and other shows featuring Cosby have been pulled from syndication. Twenty-five colleges and universities have taken back their honorary degrees. But, it's important to highlight the fact that a lot of the alleged acts fall outside the statutes of limitations for criminal legal proceedings, but criminal charges have been filed against Cosby in one case and numerous civil lawsuits have been brought against him.

Two More Women Claim Bill Cosby Sexually Assaulted Them

<h2>Man pulls a gun after getting into a fight at a movie theater.</h2>
Kentucky police reveal that they will seek charges against a man who pulled out a gun during a screening of Star Trek Beyond. <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/police-seek-charges-moviegoer-pulls-914066" target="_blank" data-di-id="di-id-a664b0d6-5d89e9c2">According to the Hollywood Reporter</a>, Paducah law enforcement was called to a Cinemark movie theater Saturday morning after a fight broke out among patrons. Once police arrived, a man told officer Dana Davie that the fight started after his son kicked the back of another man's seat.

According Paducah Police Department, witnesses said they saw the man stand up and began cursing the boy asking him if he was going to keep kicking his seat.

The boy’s father then stepped in and the two men started to fight.

“As the father got the upper hand in the fight, witnesses said, the other man pulled a gun and said, ‘What the (expletive) are you going to do now,’” the police department wrote on their <a href="https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1094037327324552&amp;id=184435768284717" target="_blank" data-di-id="di-id-7271eb70-dcd25a77">Facebook page</a>.

Other moviegoers started running after they realized a gun was pulled. Three Cinemark employees and patrons escorted the gun-wielding man out of the venue, and stayed with him until police arrived to make their arrest.Now the unnamed man is banned from entering Cinemark property.

Thankfully, no one was injured in the incident. However, it did bring back memories of tragedies that took place inside movie theaters.

Moviegoer Pulls a Gun During 'Star Trek Beyond'

<h2>Miami Police Shooting - Police officers shoot unarmed black man who had his hands up.</h2>
Tension between Black Lives Matter and police officers are high across the country - and especially in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - after the shooting deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by police officers.

Last weekend saw another tragedy when a gunman went on a massacre and shot several police and sheriffs in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Both Sterling and Philando Castile's death were caught on camera, and one man nearly met the same fate this week. Behavioral Therapist CHarles Kinsey was doing his job - helping an autistic boy in the middle of the street - when police reportedly responded to a call from someone who beleived a man had a gun. The man in question was actually a young autistic patient, who was playing with his toy truck.

Kinsey was not armed, and he was trying to calm the boy when police approached him with weapons drawn. And after he put his hands in the air, a police officer shot him.

Thankfully, Kinsey was able to tell his story, as he sustained a non-life threatening gun shot wound.&nbsp;&#147;I&#146;m going to the ground, just like this with my hands up. And I&#146;m laying down here just like this. And I&#146;m telling him again, &#145;Sir, there&#146;s no need for firearms. I&#146;m unarmed, this is an autistic guy. He has a toy truck in his hand &#133; When he shot me, it was so surprising. It was like a mosquito bite. And when he hit me, I&#146;m like, I still got my hands in the air. I said, &#145;You know, I just got shot.&#146; And I&#146;m saying to them, &#145;Sir, why did you shoot me?&#146; And his words to me, he said, &#145;I don&#146;t know.'&#148;

State police are currently investigating the incident including Kinsey's account of events.

Hollywood Reacts to Miami Police Shooting

<h2>SAG-AFTRA warns actors about casting workshop "scams"</h2>
Casting workshops that charge actors to be seen by casting directors are considered a "scam," according to the SAG-AFTRA, and may be against the California law that bans producers, directors, and even casting directors from taking money from aspiring actors. This news comes only a day after the Los Angeles City Attorney's office revealed that they were <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/news/los-angeles-city-attorney-launches-investigation-acting-classes">launching an investigation into the casting workshop</a> scheme.

According to Deadline, the actors union says that members who pay to be seen by casting directors, might be in violation of guild rules or even state law.

“There are certainly many legit companies that offer a chance to meet and read for casting agents and directors in a classroom setting,” the guild says on its website. “But be aware that if any fee is charged for these sessions, your participation may be in violation of SAG-AFTRA Rule 11 or California labor laws.”

According to SAG rules: “It shall be deemed conduct unbecoming a member for any member of the union, directly or indirectly, to give or offer to give any money, gift, gratuity or other thing of value to an employer, or prospective employer, to any officer, agent, representative or employee of such employer or prospective employer, or to any employment or casting agency representing an employer, or prospective employer, or to any of their officers, agents, representatives or employees as an inducement to secure employment.”

The guild asks members to contact them if they are asked to "pay a fee or give any form of compensation to audition for a casting director, producer, agent, manager, or anyone else that has any input into the hiring process. … This includes workshop-style situations where a casting director watches your scene or monologue, offers no meaningful critique or feedback, and is presented as someone looking for actors for ‘current and upcoming projects.’ This becomes a paid audition, which is against SAG-AFTRA rules.”

The California Labor Code prohibits employers or potential employers from demanding payment for employment opportunities, and the union explains that their members should report the violations to the state Labor Commissioner's office. “The more people that stand up and protest these practices, the more likely it is that action will be taken,” the union says.

This all started after The Hollywood Reporter investigated in to pay-to-play acting workshops. According to the report, these “acting classes” are linked to nearly every broadcast show. And many new actors are paying $1,500 a year on two or three workshop classes a month in hopes of landing a day-player role that pays only a little over $600 for one day’s worth of work. In fact, casting director Dea Vise argues that “Half the people that are on network television today paid for their job interview — the one-liner roles.”

But, it’s important to highlight the fact that exchanging money for the possibility of getting a job is illegal thanks to The Krekorian Talent Scam Prevention Act of 2009, which outlaws workshops and casting directors from charging or attempting to charge an artist for an audition or employment opportunity. However, since the law was passed seven years ago, there have been no prosecutions.

Actors' Union Warns Actors About Casting Workshop "Scams"

<h2>Criminals are targeting a popular camera store in <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a>, Georgia.</h2>
Atlanta's film industry may be booming and it looks as though criminals are looking to get into the entertainment industry.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, criminals used a truck to smash into a popular camera store in Atlanta, Georgia. From Fox 5 Atlanta:
The security alarm at Wolf Camera on Piedmont Road sounded at 2:45 a.m. Officers arrived to find a white Dodge Ram truck backed completely inside the storefront.
Pricey cameras and photography gear were taken by whoever was inside that truck, which investigators said was reported as stolen.
It's unclear how many people were part of the smash-and-grab or how they got away.
It's important to point out that this is the third time, according to store managers, the store has been targeted.

[&#8230;] Actor Who Appeared in Several Spike Lee Movies, Thomas Jefferson Byrd, Fatally Shot in&#8230; [&#8230;]

<h2 class="p1">Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd, who acted in several <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/spike-lee/">Spike Lee</a> movies, was killed in <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a>.</h2>
According to <a href="https://variety.com/2020/film/news/thomas-jefferson-byrd-dead-spike-lee-atlanta-1234792188/">Variety</a>, authorities arrived at the scene of his murder on Saturday around 1:45 a.m. after a call came in about an injured person who was also unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his back. He was later pronounced dead after Emergency Medical Services around at the scene.
Detectives are investigating the shooting with Atlanta Police Department telling Variety it is an open investigation.
Byrd was best known for his appearances in several of Spike Lee’s movies including Clockers, Get on the Bus, Bamboozled, Chi-Raq, Red Hook Summer, Girl 6, and Da Sweet Blood of Jesus. Byrd was also in Antoine Fuqua’s Brooklyn’s Finest, Jamie Foxx’s Ray Charles biopic, Ray, and F. Gary Gray’s Set It Off.
Spike Lee honored Byrd’s life on Instagram on Sunday saying, “I’m so sad to announce the tragic murder of our beloved brother Thomas Jefferson Byrd last night in Atlanta, Georgia.” Lee added, “Tom is my guy. Here below you see him as the frightening character Errol Barnes in CLOCKERS. Brother Byrd also did his thang in my joints — CHI-RAQ, SWEET BLOOD OF JESUS, RED HOOK SUMMER, BAMBOOZLED, HE GOT GAME, GET ON THE BUS, GIRL 6 and CLOCKERS. May we all wish condolences and blessings to his family. Rest in peace brother Byrd.”

Actor Who Appeared in Several Spike Lee Movies, Thomas Jefferson Byrd, Fatally Shot in Atlanta

<h2 class="p1">A crew member was shot by police and others were held at gunpoint while working on Andrea Riseborough movie <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/geechee/">Geechee</a>.</h2>
Production for the movie was quickly shut down this past week after one crew member was shot multiple times and man others were held at gunpoint by police in the Dominican Republic. The incident is currently under investigation but, according to reports, it is a case of mistaken identity. The crew member who was shot has been released from the hospital, but most of the people involved have reportedly left the island.
<a href="https://deadline.com/2020/09/crew-member-shot-by-police-andrea-riseborough-pic-geechee-production-shutdown-pinewood-dominican-republic-1234571841/">Deadline</a> reports members of the production crew were looking at locations near Lantica Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios on Wednesday night. There is currently a curfew in the country to fight COVID-19. Members of the island’s drug enforcement police supposedly saw the crew. At some point, police allegedly fired weapons at the crew’s cars. There was some kind of car chase back to the studios, which ended with several crew members being held at gunpoint.
The situation eventually died down and one crew member was taken to the hospital and later released. The producer AGC Studios shut down production. Film Finances has also been called in to investigate the situation. Currently, there are no plans on when to resume filming or if producers will continue filming in the Dominican Republic. 
Geechee was scheduled to film in March, but due to the Coronavirus COVID-19, production was put on hold. The movie stars Andrea Riseborough as a scientist and mother who decides to sell her New York City home to live in the Caribbean. <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/jamie-foxx/">Jamie Foxx</a> is also co-producing the project. Riseborough previously worked on Bloodline, The Grudge, and Tom Cruise’s Oblivion. 
Lantica Pinewood Dominican Republic Studios has requested a full investigation from local authorities. It’s unclear how long it may take, and it’s unclear if actors and crew members will be comfortable to return to the Dominican Republic to resume filming. Production could change filming locations, or find a filming location in the United States.

Crew Members Shot By Police and Held at Gun Point While Working On Andrea Riseborough's Movie 'Geechee'

<h2 class="p1"><a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/tag/tyler-perry/">Tyler Perry</a> will pay the funeral expenses for an 8-year-old girl shot in <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a>, Georgia.</h2>
According to reports, Tyler Perry offers to pay the funeral expenses for an 8-year-old girl who was shot in Atlanta over the weekend.
"I’m outraged today because I’d rather be paying for 8-year-old Secoriea Turner’s college than her funeral," Perry said in a statement to People magazine. "When does this end?”
Secoriea was with her mother and another person on Saturday night when they reached a "a makeshift roadblock that was manned by numerous armed individuals," Atlanta police Lt. Pete Malecki said. When the driver attempted to go around the roadblock, several shots were fired and the young girl was killed. 
Secoriea was killed near Wendy’s restaurant where Rayshard Brooks was killed by a white police officer on June 12th. The fast-food outlet was burned down and the area has become a site of many protests and demonstrations against Police Brutality. It is important to note, Tyler Perry also paid for Brooks’ funeral last month.
Police released a video on Tuesday of an armed man they described as a person of interest in the shooting. The video shows a Black man in a white shirt and dark pants carrying an assault rifle.

The reward of up to $20,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in the case.

“I’m exhausted from all the hate and the division, the vitriol that I see online from one to another,” the filmmaker writes. “I’m exhausted from seeing these kinds of senseless murders play out over and over again with nothing changing in our society.”
Tyler Perry wrote on various topics ranging from George Floyd, a Black man who was killed after a white Minnesota police officer kneeled on his neck for 8 minutes and 46 setons. He also discussed getting stopped and frisked in New Orleans and Atlanta.

Tyler Perry To Pay the Funeral Expenses of 8-Year-Old Girl Killed in Atlanta

According to the <a href="https://www.cobbcounty.org/public-safety/police/news/home-invasionarmed-robbery-february-17-2019">Cobb County Police Department</a>, the manager of Icebox Jewelry in Atlanta, and his wife were the victim of a home invasion robbery in their Georgia home. The incident was accompanied by the burglary of the jewelry store in Atlanta, Georgia. 
According to reports, on Saturday at around 9:30 p.m. the store manager was followed home by armed robbers. He and his wife were forced into their house by masked gunmen, who tied them up and took the keys to the jewelry store. 
One suspect took the keys to the store and left to meet accomplices and burglarize the store. The other gunman took jewelry and cash from home and left the residence with the couple still tied up. There were no injuries. 
The Atlanta Police Department is investigating the burglary at the store. Cobb County Police Department is investigating the home invasion and working with the Atlanta Police Department.

Atlanta Celebrity Jewelry Store Burglarized While Owner Tied Up At Home

<h2><a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/tag/atlanta/">Atlanta</a> photographer charged with two felonies after a hidden camera was found in a dressing room.</h2>
Fox 5 Atlanta reports police arrested an Atlanta studio photographer and charged with reportedly hiding inside a dressing room to take photos of his subjects.
According to reports, the camera was discovered by one of three teen girls who were in the studio last month.  As the three teens were undressing, one made a joke about how she heard that cameras would be hidden to take pictures.
Police said all the teens became curious and went over to a table to check an empty tissue box. They said the box felt warm and discovered a small go pro camera inside, Fox 5 reports.
Police launched an investigation and filed two felonies against David Duong. He has been charged with eavesdropping and sexual exploitation of a minor because one of the teen girls is 17.
This is not uncommon. In July 2015, <a href="https://www.projectcasting.com/blog/casting-calls-acting-auditions/kevin-thomas-roy-insurgent/">reports surfaced that an assistant director of Insurgent filmed dozens of innocent young women</a>. According to Jezebel.com, the assistant director, who previously worked on The Lone Ranger and Pirates of the Caribbean. He was arrested in 2015 and charged with secretly filming models as they changed in their dressing rooms at a car commercial, which shot in Los Angeles.
Jezebel spoke to two of the women who were secretly filmed by the AD. Saying, “He had access to everybody because he would run the base camp on a shoot,” said one of them, who worked with Roy and whom we’ll refer to as “Jane.” Base camp is where all the trailers, changing rooms; bathrooms are set up for the cast and crew. “No woman is safe with him on set,” she said.
