‘Top Boy’ Season 3 is Set to Premiere on Netflix in September.

The highly acclaimed British television series, “Top Boy,” is returning for its third and final season, much to the delight of fans. Following the immense success of the gripping second season, which aired in March 2022, viewers have eagerly awaited the continuation of the thrilling Netflix drama. The wait is finally over, as the streaming platform has announced that the upcoming “Top Boy” season will premiere in September.

The imminent season poses a crucial question: who will emerge as the reigning Top Boy of Summerhouse? Anticipation runs high, and tensions soar, as revealed in a newly-released teaser that showcases Dushane (portrayed by Ashley Walters) and Sully (played by Kano Robinson) in a series of intense shots. In addition to Walters and Kano, the final season will feature the return of beloved cast members, including Simbi Ajikawo, Jasmine Jobson, Saffron Hocking, and Araloyin Oshunremi. Joining the ensemble are Barry Keoghan from “The Batman” and Brian Gleeson from “Peaky Blinders,” who will bring new characters Jonny and Tadgh to life, respectively.

Walters and Kano expressed their thoughts: “While Dushane and Sully have remained central to the show, the introduction of new characters has played a vital role in shaping the show’s legacy, presenting fresh storylines in an authentic and compelling manner.”

The first four episodes of the season will be directed by Myriam Raja, a filmmaker of Pakistani origin who was involved in the mentee program during the season. Seasoned director Will Stefan Smith will return to the final two episodes. The production is backed by Drake and his business partner Adel “Future Nur Nur from DreamCrew Entertainment, LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Jamal Henderson from The SpringHill, Walters, and Kano.
