Stacey Dash: Being Republican Ruined My Acting Career

Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash says she was "blacklisted" by Hollywood because she's Republican.

Ever since Stacey Dash joined the Fox News desk, she hasn't strayed away from controversy. In fact, she lead the charge to get rid of Black History Month and bashed Will Smith for supporting #OscarsSoWhite controversy. However, Stacey Dash believes her attitude toward conservative politics hurt her acting career. According to an interview with People magazine, Dash says she was "blacklisted in Hollywood." "They told me that when they pitched me, casting directors would say, 'We give you credit for pitching her with a straight face.' It makes me so angry." Dash explains, "Republicans in Hollywood hide. I'm challenging them to stand up and have courage. I won't be scared into submission." But, Dash has bigger dreams than Hollywood. She tells People that she's going to run for president one day in the future. "I'm going to run for president one day," says Dash. "I had a dream about 15 years ago that I was siting on the lawn of the White House, having a picnic with my family. That's what I'm going for." Via People What do you think?
