Jason Momoa Is the Fast & Furious Franchise’s Best Male Villain, According to Co-Star

Date:

His Fast & Furious co-star acclaims Jason Momoa to be the top male villain of the franchise, making him a force to be reckoned with.

Jason Momoa’s Fast X character Dante has been making a remarkable impression on franchise fans due to his eye-catching performance in the extended trailer for this edge-of-your-seat thriller. Dante has received tremendous compliments from Michelle Rodriguez, who proclaimed him the most potent male villain in the franchise yet – falling only second in line behind Charlize Theron’s Cipher.

Jason Momoa’s chance to portray Dante – Herman Reyes’ vengeful son. Fans can’t wait for him to bring his grit with vengeance as this villainous character from Fast Five back with vengeance! We’re all familiar with Momoa’s impressive portfolio of heroic characters, but in Fast X, he gets to cut loose and shine as the outrageous antagonist. Rodriguez shared more about his character on Collider’s Ladies Night podcast, stating:

“Revenge with a smirk. It sounds light, but when you see [the movie], you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. Of course, I’d say he’s the best male villain we’ve had in the entire franchise because Charlize kills it. Do you know what I mean? She’s a different type of monster, no pun intended.”

Despite the delay in his arrival at the franchise, Momoa has wasted no time in crafting an unforgettable impression. Exciting news for fans of Momoa and the Fast Saga alike – his character seems set to be in the upcoming final movie, promising a thrilling experience!

Even before we witnessed his entire presence in the Fast & Furious franchise, Jason Momoa was popular among fans. With no shortage of villains in this series, he will become a beloved character for many viewers. Supported by his talented cast members and blessed with an abundance of adoring fans, Dante is sure to bring something extraordinary. Louis Leterrier, the director of Fast X, previously provided insight into what he views as unique and compelling elements that make Dante a distinct villain.

According to him:

Dante is in awe of Dom. He’s analyzed him. There’s nowhere to hide because he knows Dom better than himself. Dom is in awe of Dom. He’s examined him. He knows Dom better than himself. The family goes both ways. There’s family on your side. When your super-strength becomes your Achilles heel, it’s where you will get wounded the most.

Get ready for an action-packed ride with the impressive lineup of stars in Fast X! The star-studded cast features Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jason Momoa, and more. Experience this adrenaline-fueled film when it hits theaters on May 19th, 2023!
