HBO to Offer HBO GO without Cable Subscription in 2015

You will finally be able to get HBO without paying for a cable subscription in 2015.

After years of ignoring millions of TV viewers, HBO and Time Warner have finally decided to provide a standalone version of HBO Go in 2015. You will soon be able to legally access all of HBO's programming without paying for a cable subscription. This is a huge deal especially for Netflix, who now faces a new competitor in the streaming content industry.
“It is time to remove all barriers to those who want HBO,” [HBO head Richard Plepler> said, “so, in 2015, we will launch a stand-alone, over-the-top, HBO service in the United States. We will work with our current partners. And, we will explore models with new partners. All in, there are 80 million homes that do not have HBO and we will use all means at our disposal to go after them.” []
Call your cable company and tell them to cancel HBO. Because starting 2015, you can get HBO without paying for 100 other channels you don't watch. What do you think?Discuss this story with fellow Project Casting fans on Facebook. On Twitter, follow us at @projectcasting.
