CASTING (principal contract; potential music licensing): BAND, DJ or MUSICAL ACT for scene in tv series directed by Ben Stiller/Aoife McArdle; must feel ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT! We’re open to various acts, but energy must have anarchist vibe (like the show would feel dangerous for the average type!). Ideally, a Norwegian death metal scary vibe, but open to interpretations. Influences: Slowthai, Young Fathers, Gallows, Public Enemy, Dead Kennedys, Rage Against the Machine, Black Flag, Sleaford Mods, Bad Brains, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, Iggy Pop, Mura Masa. Could be an intimidating punk act w/an electronic or hiphop influence (so it feels current to underground, anti-establishment music now). Or the contemporary feel could come from tracks having a raw electronic bass line (Sleaford Mods) or samples could be mixed in.
