'Transformers: The Last Knight' Open Casting Call

Michael Bay's Transformers 5 is now casting background actors in Detroit, Michigan.

Transformers is returning to Michigan to film this summer. The next movie in the Transformers franchise is being filmed partly in Detroit and casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent in Detroit, Michigan. Maryellen Aviano is now casting background actors to work on the new movie. According to Fox 2 Detroit, Aviano is looking for background extras to work on the movie. TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION "We're trying to hire as many local people in every capacity that we can," Aviano said. "[Director> Michael Bay loves Detroit and loves the iconic landmarks and the architecture." The fifth installment in the franchise is reportedly titled "Transformers: The Last Knight" and hits theaters June 2017.

How to audition for Transformers 5:

Things to include in the email are a recent photograph of yourself and your stats (height, contact info, schedule, etc.) She said most extras will be for those 18 and older, but there may be some spots available for 16-18 year olds.
